The Black Book Interactive Project is a collaborative research project that seeks to increase the number of black-authored texts in the study of digital humanities. By generating a metadata schema that accounts for race and race-related issues, we will correct the digital divide in black-authored texts. BBIP has been funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS).
We are now accepting applications for the next phase of the Black Book Interactive Project Scholar Program. Click here to access application materials.
